Tai Chi

Tai Chi can mean great system or big system, when translated form Chinese.

Tai Chi is about generating energy through gentle movement and regular breathing and can help people relax and feel calm.

Through these exercises we can help the body's natural energy, or Chi, flow, creating a sense of calm and inner peace.

The exercises are based aorund a set of separate movements which are bought together to form a complete sequence.

The movements are performed slowly with the in-breath occuring during the gathering-in movements and the out-breath occuring during the outward movements.

People of all ages and all levels of fitness can enjoy Tai Chi.
