FeldenkraisThe Feldenkrais Method® is for anyone who wants to reconnect with their natural abilities to move, think and feel. Whether you want to be more comfortable sitting at your computer, playing with your children and grandchildren, or performing a favorite pastime, these gentle lessons can improve your overall well being. Feldenkrais can help anyone wishing to move and lie more comfortably, it is useful for people with restricted movement, chronic pain, psychological and neurological problems. Our physical and psychological behaviour are defined by our personal experience, these behaviours become rooted in our nervous system. They can become outmoded or dysfunctional. Through Feldenkrais we can improve our posture, flexibility, co-ordination, self-image and can alleviate muscular tension and pain. DR. Moshe Feldenkrais Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, D.Sc., (1904-1984) was a distinguished scientist, physicist and engineer. For many years he was a close associate of Noble Prize Laureate Frederic Joliot-Curie at the Curie Institute in Paris, France. |
